LOVE:
‘Giver without permission’ was the way she was criticized. She loved to help, loved to give, loved God so much, above all loved to forgive. She loved everyone as she loved herself with eternal love. She also wanted people to love God and whatever He loved most, return love for hate or criticism.
FOCUS:
She was focused to dedicate her life to God. Even with the backlashes she received from her family who were in desperate need to marry her off, she didn’t bulge. Instead, she joined the St. Dominic, which allowed her to associate with a religious society while living at home. All these were done because of her focus to be an instrument of God. She was also focused to help people get safe and sanctified in the worst situation of their lives.
DEDICATION:
She dedicated her life most especially to God and to His things. Her dedication to service led to her nomination as one of the only 4 Lay Women Doctors of the Church. She was one of the most influential and popular Saints in the church. Her dedication also earned her influence in relocating the Pope from Avignon to Rome.
STEADFASTNESS:
She was steadfast in the mist of turbulence. Even though she received bodily marks or sores (stigmata). She was loyal in the face of trouble and difficulty. The criticism that came from people didn’t stop her. She wanted people to see suffering in the light of God’s truth and goodness.
HUMILITY:
St. Catherine lived a life of humility that earned her nomination to become one of the Doctors of the church. During her life time she

• Sacrificed a lot too
